    We were a bit worried that we might be buying a house with all sorts of hidden problems, and even though the house was not new and actually there were some fairly significant issues that were identified by BestBuild Inspections.
    We still went ahead with the purchase but it made a big difference in our negotiating power reducing the asking price significantly as we had the option to pull out of the deal. Especially as we were able to fix most of the problems quite quickly when we moved in.
